According to the article, lawsuits are being filed on behalf of migrant families affected by border separation and this is the Biden admin. trying to settle. However, it makes me wonder where legal assistance is coming from for these alien invaders. A quick online search and it's like looking up government agencies involved in migrant assistance, they pop up all over the place. First one I saw was San Diego County being the first county to provide free legal assistance to illegals: https://www.kpbs.org/news/politics/2021/05/04/san-diego-first-border-county-provide-free-legal
Then you start scanning through the list and it just goes on and on...
No wonder so many lawsuits are being filed. Makes you wonder who is funding so much of it, besides our taxes....A certain billionaire's name that begins with an S and ends with an S perhaps?

There seems to be no end to these organizations, no matter how far down I scroll they never seem to end. The funding for them must be coming from very deep pockets (that S guy again plus Zuckburger, Grates et al?).
How many assistance organizations are there for poor Whites, or middle class Whites who have hit on hard times? If we stacked them up side by side, who would have more? I dunno, more research than I have time for but it makes me wonder.
Unlike many articles on this topic, this one actually gives a little background:
“The Biden administration is correct to provide relief to the children and families affected by the government’s horrific practice of family separation,” ACLU attorney Lee Gelernt said in a statement. “Their suffering is something they will always live with, and it is a deep moral stain on our country. We need to make it right, and this includes not simply any monetary support, but also a path to remain here. This is what is right and fair.”
Gelernt is a Jew -- on behalf of the ACLU, he sued the Trump administration (i.e. the federal government) over 'separated families' -- so presumably the proposed payments are related to settlement of the ACLU lawsuit -- the SPLC also sued over 'family separation'.
