I usually check how the stock market futures are trending before I go to bed, and have discovered they're a pretty good indicator of how equities will perform the following day. Several weeks ago the futures were down by quite a bit, so I knew the next day would be horrible.
I checked my account after the day's closing to see just how bad it was and discovered I'd lost over $45,000.....in one day. I laughed out loud, then texted a couple of friends to share the dark humor.
I like being a millionaire.
