DC: Firefighters Attacked...
by a dusky chap wanted for murdering a woman in July. (What is odd is that this story just surfaced on the local abc-tv website, but it is dated from Thursday):

N.S.: In Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots, black gang-bangers set buildings on fire, and then drew guns on firemen who came to put out the fire, threatening to kill them. However, Hispanic gang-bangers then came to the rescue, drawing their weapons on the black gang-bangers, and letting the firemen do their jobs. Such incidents led many White Los Angelenos to have a positive view of Hispanics.
