Ravi Singh tendered his resignation from the Arlington Police Department on Friday, effectively ending the administrative investigation whether he followed departmental policy and training standards in the August incident.
N.S.: These "welfare call" jobs have become as dangerous for cops as domestic call jobs.

Anyone who has been around Indians (dot not feather) knows that most of them are terrified of dogs. Apparently that is because feral street dogs roam the streets in India and may attack people and carry rabies. On my street a 117 pound lab charges me when he sees me. He is so powerful his owner cannot hold on. When he gets to me he grabs my arm in his teeth lightly and licks me between his teeth. He is all over me, so happy to see me, tail wagging non-stop. It is hard to imagine a scary 40 pound lab. Furthermore, all that is necessary to discourage a hostile dog is to make a stun gun spark jump across the electrodes. When dogs hear that electric crackle they turn away--no contact necessary. An Indian cop who is so terrified of dogs that he fires his gun at a little dog is a menace to society--as this case proved.
