The answer was: “He was the anonymous author of the pathetic thing that Gawker publisher Nick Denton paid ‘in the low four figures’ for, which Denton’s editor, Remy Stern titled, ‘I Had a One-Night Stand With Christine O’Donnell,’ but which in fact was about O’Donnell sexually rejecting him, all in hopes that the thing would ensure the victory of O’Donnell’s Democratic opponent, Chris Coons, in today’s Delaware U.S. Senate race.

Kudos to the sleuths at The Smoking Gun, who quickly sniffed out Dominiak.
