The man was a legal resident but apparently not a citizen. And correct, who did issue him a security clearance. Alarm bells should have been going off all over the place.
This involves possible help to the Iranian to build their a-bomb too. A Rosenberg style case. Trade this guy for that American who disappeared into Iran twelve years ago.
