Schiff Show Continues (Is that "Anti-Semitic," too?)

Truth or Consequences

"(There) is no doubt that George Soros controls a very large part of the career foreign service of the US State Department.

He also controls the activities of FBI agents overseas who work for NGOs . . . this was very evident in Ukraine."

- Former United States Attorney Joe diGenova, Fox News, November 14, 2019

Depending upon one's news source, articles of the impeachment of President Donald Trump are being rightly drawn up just outside Congressman Adam Schiff's hearing room, or the contradictions in testimony are so disparate that the proceedings are essentially null and void.

That presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter were involved in misdeeds in Ukraine is readily apparent, but that's not Schiff's concern.  He has characterized commentary about the Bidens as partisan misdirection.

Yet what no media outlet will state is that the protagonists in the ongoing debacle share comparable origins, lest they be accused of anti-Semitism.

Israel Shamir is immune to such a charge.

Born in Novosibirsk, Russia in 1947, Shamir lived in Israel in the 1970s and 1980s before becoming a naturalized Swedish citizen in 1992. He is well-versed in Jewish involvement in international affairs. Here is a candid appraisal of the legal proceedings now dividing the nation: "Jews Impeach Trump, Trump Woos Jews."

Jews Impeach Trump, Trump Woos Jews
The impeachment farce is basically a Jewish affair, noted the Israeli daily Haaretz. The soul and engine of the impeachment is Adam Schiff, 'Shifty Schiff' in Trump's colourful expression. His name brings to mind the Jewish banking house of Schiff, top Jewish aristocracy of money and media. The second man is Greedy Goldman, or Daniel […]

Jailers Michael Thomas, 41, and Tova Noel, 31, were arrested for failing to complete their duties and falsifying work records surrounding the purported suicide of accused sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, August 10.

Noel is charged with five counts of falsifying records while Thomas is facing three counts. Both are charged with conspiracy.

Noel and Thomas are alleged to have spent the overnight hours sleeping and surfing the web in the Special Housing Unit at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center, and failing to check on Epstein.

He was discovered not breathing in his cell at 6:30 am, authorities say.

Under current statutes Noel could be sentenced to 25 years if found guilty, and Thomas 15 years.

After each posted $100,000 bond, the pair were released late Tuesday.

An indictment of Noel says she spent much of her shift browsing pages for furniture. Thomas' principal interests appeared to be sports highlights and motorcycle sales.

Thomas is said to have told investigators, "We messed up. I messed up. She's not to blame, we didn't do any rounds."

Noel is represented by the law firm of Foy and Seplowitz, while Thomas has engaged attorney Montell Figgins.

All are expected for a further procedural hearing in US District Court, November 25.

A monument honoring the Confederate soldier has been removed from the town square in tiny Pittsboro, North Carolina (population: 4400).

As reported here earlier, town council members voted to take down the memorial in late August.

Lawyers for the United Daughters of the Confederacy contended that when the statue was erected in 1907 it was agreed to stand there in perpetuity.

But Superior Court Judge Susan Bray believed differently, and ruled November 12 that the monument could come down.

Pittsboro officials wasted little time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmgUz7iN_t4

Some people cheered as the statue was removed from its pedestal overnight. Others were not so happy, saying officials were trying to change history.

An attorney for the UDC argued, "The monument only speaks to the honor of those who not only served in the field, but in their homes, and in their hearts.

"It doesn't say anything that would suggest that it's nothing but a memorial to honor."

Pittsboro residents said faculty at the nearby University of North Carolina pressured council members to make the decision.

Another told Durham's WDVT-TV11 succinctly, "The most polite word I can use is bullshit."

Bloomberg Luxury columnist Hannah Elliott recommends you pass on 20th Century Fox's new film Ford v. Ferrari, starring Matt Damon, Christian Bale, and Josh Lucas.

" . . . what I saw is a devastating picture of the lack of diversity that permeated the industry in the 1960s. . .

Because Ford v. Ferrari shows a generation best left dead and gone."

When the Future Was Faster - Taki's Magazine

2019 was supposed to be Hollywood's year of Intersectional Diversity, but the handful of good films—such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Joker, The Irishman, and now Ford v Ferrari—keep turning out to be period pieces about straight white men made for straight white men by straight white men.. Reliable Matt Damon plays Texan race-car impresario Carroll Shelby (one of the more glamorous ...

Debussy "Clair de Lune" on Piano for 80-Year-Old Elephant

Debussy "Clair de Lune" for a gentle female elephant called Ampan. Ampan is 80 years old and lives with us at Elephants World in Thailand. She is blind in one eye and can barely see with the other. 80 years old is very old indeed for an elephant, it's about 10 years past the natural life span of an elephant in the wild. My recording of ...
