Judge to Issue Written Ruling in Eric Boyd's Request for New Trial in Christian-Newsom Case

This is standard--The convicted defendant asks for a new trial. Boyd's attorney claims the state "has presented five different things that happened." Well, there were five defendants tried separately, each with a different defense strategy pointing the finger away from himself.
Back in 2007 when the late Judge Baumgartner severed the case into separate trials for each suspect we knew it would be a drawn-out process.
