R.C.: So, did the indigenous (sic) butcher the indigenous mega fauna to extinction?

The way to kill the mammoth is by trapping the animal in a pit and stabbing with a spear in the butt hole. Thing just bleeds to death then with little danger to the hunter.
If mammoths would fall for these traps 15,000 years ago,today's blacks,no doubt,would fall for them too,
