After Marilyn Monroe’s death in August 1962, her former husband, Joe DiMaggio, made the funeral arrangements. JFK and RFK’s sister, Patricia Kennedy Lawford, flew from Hyannis Port to Los Angeles to attend the funeral. Joe D barred her and her husband, Peter Lawford, from the funeral.

So was Joe D.behind BOTH JFK and RFK's assassinations with revenge the motive?By jove,I believe you've solved the crimes of the century,David. But then I think Hoover and LBJ had a hand in it too.
All as feasible as any other theory.
Coo coo ca choo.

Oswald did it alone. In a conspiracy, it all comes out within a few days. Examples are Lincoln, Tsar Alexander II, Franz Ferdinand, Hitler, and de Gaulle. The last two were unsuccessful but as with the other assassination conspiracies, the conspirators were quickly found out and arrested.
Oswald thought up the idea of ambushing Kennedy during a motorcade?
Impossible.
He got a job at the Texas Depository two weeks before the motorcade was announced in mid October and from what I've read,he also could not have known Kennedy would pass by the depository--or the time he would do so--if he was a lone gunman.
As part of a firing squad, maybe, but not by himself.

You've got it backwards. Oswald "thought up the idea" when he learned Kennedy's motorcade would pass directly below where he worked.
Coincidence and ad lib of the century? He "lucks" into a job at the spot JFK will travel by and decides, for some reason,to assassinate the president.
What was his motive?
I did a little research and there didn't seem to be an answer.According to his wife,he held no animosity towards JFK,though apparently--unbeknownst to me,before reading this on thoughtco.com--Oswald attempted to assassinate a U.S. Army General,by the name of Edwin Walker,in April 1963.Walker was injured by fragments from a window as the bullets flew through.
Question:Why wasn't Oswald connected to that crime in 1963 and arrested?
The article could not come up with a concrete motive.

Oswald "motive" was a hatred of America from a leftist pro-Communist point of view. The American establishment didn't want this, fearing it would heat up the cold war.
This is explained in James Pierson's book, "Camelot and the Cultural Revolution."
The beach home of Lawford was used for the various romantic liaisons of JFK and Marilyn.
"Oswald attempted to assassinate a U.S. Army General, by the name of Edwin Walker, in April 1963.Walker was injured by fragments from a window as the bullets flew through.
Question: Why wasn't Oswald connected to that crime in 1963 and arrested?"
Edwin evidently was a gay man with moral arrests and convictions [washrooms] Edwin too was an associate of Billy James Hargis, popular Texan anti-communist and a bi-sexual.
