vanishing jobs predicted
I am always reminded of Brenda Walker when I see reports like this. She made a point of directing us to "job shrinking" and we featured at least a couple of issues of The Social Contract with her assistance. Ezra Mishan of the London School of Economics repeatedly said that some societies should welcome future population reductions. He specifically mentioned Japan, which the international bigwigs were encouraging to open their society to more immigrant workers:
