African countries as well, actually, not countries, cultures. Quite common in Africa and considered a rite of passage for girls, if they refuse, many are forced. Leads to a lifetime of urinary and childbirth issues that are painful and debilitating. Sexual feeling is not only eliminated but sex becomes excruciatingly painful, imagine how many women are raped, in the continent with the highest rape stats in the world, who have suffered fgm. Been going since the dawn of time in Africa. You know, they always talk about how the historical repercussions of slavery still impact blacks in the US like there's some kind of genetic connection but a few hundred years vs. millennia of suffering seems a little more impactful to me. Maybe that's why black women are so angry?
Abomination. That some doctors USA do these surgeries. Do not harm. First and foremost supposedly.
