When this ol’ world starts getting me down,
And people are just too much for me to face,
I go to the top of a roof with my gun,
And there we both can have a lot of fun.
On the roof, it’s peaceful as can be,
Until the cops come up,
And wave their weapons at me.
Up on the roof.

The first reports said the shooter "fired from a rooftop with a long gun."
It turned out the shooter was confronted on the street by the two officers who suspected he was wanted for a prior shooting. The suspect, one Kendall Howard, then pulled out a handgun and shot the officers at point blank range.
Why was the phony story given out? It was on the MSM sources.
Well there goes a hit song out the window--or off the roof.
