Comments made? Then dead? Las Vegas. Normally in places that depend on tourism they crack down hard on locals that misbehave.

That retired cop looks like a pretty strapping fellow, even at 57 I'd be surprised he could be taken down so easily. Judging from observational experience, a single white confronting a pack of negro's is never a one on one fight, Leath's buddies would have been circling around behind ready to jump in if it appeared the white man was getting the upper hand. As a cop he must have realized that and the distraction made him vulnerable to the inevitable sucker punch.

Forgot to add...If somebody is killed by a "single punch" it's usually not the punch that is fatal but the recipient falling and striking their head against the ground, usually concrete which can be deadly. Likely the ex cop was distracted by the pack circling behind him and wasn't prepared when Leath threw the sucker punch and the force of the punch combined with lack of balance caused him to strike the pavement with enough force to be fatal.
Reminds me of a case a few years back when a college white male football player was punched in the face by a Hispanic alien invader on the street in a small OR town. The punch didn't kill him but when he fell backward he hit the pavement with such force is essentially cracked his skull open and he died.

Like the negro thug Treyvons in FLA who slammed the head of Zimmerman twice into the concrete. Treyvons the negro thug was using lethal force because someone Zimm looked at him.
