They have had this in Chicago for a while. Interventionists they call em'. Gang members gone straight so we are told. Used to mediate and negotiation in case of gang disputes.

And now they are investigating the governor because the money spent on such projects is not accounted for.

I can recall too they had Black Muslims some time back do patrol in the projects.

If ever there was a more dangerous group of persons you did not WANT to do "policing" it would be them.
