Hated for Marrying a White Man—Tamera Mowry is Not Alone

Hated for Marrying a White Man—Tamera Mowry is Not Alone

Early in our marriage, The Boss and I used to enjoy re-runs of the long-running sitcom Sister, Sister, which starred the Mowry twins Tina and Tamera, Tim Reid, and Jackee. Once you made the initial leap of faith—that twins were separated at birth, one adopted by a single man, the other by a single woman, and that the two families would meet, the parents would marry for the kids’ sake, and then really fall in love—it was an enjoyable show, which was designed to appeal both to young and adult viewers. We watched it for Reid and Jackee, while kids presumably watched it for the twins.

It is likely that she has received aspersions because she is dating someone who works at Fox.

Malkin is brilliant and I have nothing against her. But I would like to see a parallel story about what happens if the Filipinos or Africans face minoritization in their nations. It wouldn't be pretty. That matter should be made clear. America is less racist... not more so.
