The mother of a murdered Brooklyn marine sobbed quietly in a California courtroom Monday as graphic photos depicting the brutal 2008 torture slaying of her son and his wife were shown to jurors for the first time.
The gruesome pictures showed Quiana Jenkins' naked body face down on a couch, her arms bound behind her back with red tape and multiple gunshot wounds to her tape-wrapped head.
Beneath her lay the lifeless, badly bruised body of her hog-tied husband Sgt. Jan Pietrzak, his white tee-shirt drenched in blood.
Mom Henryka Pietrzak-Vargaand heaved forward and sobbed quietly with her hand over her mouth when Riverside County Deputy District Attorney Daniel DeLimon displayed a close-up autopsy picture of her son's battered body.

She wept when DeLimon showed images of the racist phrase "N----r Lover" scrawled on the walls of the interracial couple's house, and again when DeLimon picked up a clear plastic bag containing the pink vibrator that allegedly was used to violate Jenkins as her bound husband was forced to watch.
The vibrator was found "right next to her naked body, right in front of her husband," DeLimon said.
"We're all hoping for justice," Pietrzak-Vargaand, who named her son after Pope John Paul II and raised him in Bensonhurst, told the Daily News outside the courtroom.
A gang of four fellow marines stands accused of carrying out the vicious double murder four years ago near Camp Pendleton.

Defendant Tyrone Miller, 25 and alleged shooter Emrys John, 23, worked with Sgt. Pietrzak at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station in San Diego and share one jury.
Kevin Cox, 25, has his own jury due to the lengthy statement he purportedly gave investigators about the incident and alleged sexual assault of Jenkins by Miller and fourth defendant Kesaun Sykes, 25, authorities said.
Sykes is scheduled to begin his trial in August.
Pietrzak-Vargaand waited outside the courtroom with Jenkins' mom earlier Monday as DeLimon delivered his first opening statement to the jury for Miller and John.

"We just didn't want to see the pictures," she explained to The News.
She wiped tears in the back row during the afternoon session for Cox's jury.
Prosecutors claim the armed men stormed the newlyweds' southern California house shortly after 1 a.m. on October 15, 2008, and terrorized them for up to an hour and half before shooting them using couch cushions as silencers.
They savagely beat Pietrzak, 24, sexually assaulted his 26-year-old wife with the vibrator, painted a "C" on her stomach to test the paint later used for the racists graffiti and tried to light the five-bedroom house on fire as they fled with bank cards, jewelry, Pietrzak's dress uniform and juice from the refrigerator, authorities say.

"I'm sorry that I had to show you those pictures," DeLimon told the morning jurors. "I hate that I had to show you those pictures. I did it because you need to know."
DeLimon said homicide investigators searched Miller's house after learning he'd voiced hatred for Pietrzak and found Jenkins' ATM card and Pietrzak's wedding ring, he said.
Cox's girlfriend Melissa Buck eventually told investigators she'd gone along with some of the accused on a prior home invasion robbery and later saw them congratulating John as the Oct. 15 triggerman, DeLimon said.
Detectives found Jenkins' wedding rings and Pietrzak's Movado watch in the residence Buck shared with Sykes, he told jurors.
Miller eventually confessed to taking part in the crime, DeLimon said, and Pietrzak's blood was found on his shoes.
John's defense lawyer seized on Buck's criminal history, her relationship to Cox and John's lack of a criminal record in his opening statement Monday.
"Miss Buck told different stories then finally admitted she was the girlfriend of Mr. Cox. Does she have a bias?" lawyer John Hemmer asked the jury.
"I believe the evidence will show (John) has no other crimes in his background. He comes to you clean as the driven snow," Hemmer said.

As always, here in America and the world over, are stories, gleaned via online news services, of “mob” violence, with blacks and Islamics being the most obvious and usual culprits.
Here in America, the blacks periodically do their large mob violence thing, destroying property and attempting to shake down whitey. Any guess what will transpire if justice is served in the upcoming George Zimmerman trial; George clearly, in rightfully defending his life, committed justifiable homicide, not murder 2. Soon by the way, thanks to liberals and liberal ideology, the defacto thinking box imposed on all whites, we will have another group of 3rd worlders doing the very same thing, the Islamics.
Further, when it comes to black or Islamic "mob" violence, it is not due to anger. Anger is ephemeral and in turn serves simply as a trigger mechanism or pretext to unleash their genuine pent up emotion of hate. Liberals euphemize the black and Islamic hate as anger, while incorrectly labeling white separatist groups as hate groups, and by the way, white separatist groups would prefer simply to “separate” out and away from all those not born of the white gene pool and also, from white liberals and their ruinous baggage of liberal ideology.
Like good immature dolts of solid white IQ, the white liberals simply change all things around to further and support their liberal ideology. Unfortunately, it is the entire white collective, the world over, that will ultimately bear the emerging cross of ruination in white culture and of the white gene pool that liberal ideology "in charge and giving the orders" is currently materializing.
Moreover, the hate of the lower IQed third worlders, blacks, browns and Islamics, directed at whitey, is elicited in them as they see our accomplishments, including civilization, as far superior to anything they are capable of. However, they, like white liberals, pretend they believe whitey is persecuting them, holding them down, and that this alone is the sole reason for their loser status in the world of humans; and this pretended belief of course becomes their chosen ideological illusion.
They, the lower IQed 3rd worlders, are jealous of us, but rather than accept their personal responsibility, of nature's charge to mature, swallow their false pride, and ultimately, accept what is a, natural for them, station in life in our civilized culture, they choose to become hateful, and either pursue their superiority over us, or intend secretly to meld their gene pool to ours as the means to achieve elevation out of their loser, lower IQed, reality.
This, their strategies, results in the ruination of all that is whitey's; whitey's gene pool, race and culture.
If not for ourselves then for our posterity and gene pool we must find our "courage, via earned moral resolved achieved" to secede.
