The missing George Wallace 2024 Campaign

https://nypost.com/2023/07/15/nyc-bias-suit-black-hispanic-teachers-and-ex-teachers-rich/

Wheres the Presidential Candidate that will talk about this?

Back in the day George Wallace would have swept another 25 states with just this issue.
BTW hey never tell you Wallace  was WINNING the GOP race in 1972 when he was shot  do they?
Wouldnt it be great if Vivek or some underdog  picked it up and jumped to the lead? Just to bitch slap the GOP

How sincere was Wallace in his beliefs? Is that a fair question? Many of the 1950s and 60s politicians latched onto a philosophy that was anti-black until it was not a winning hand anymore. Then they switched.Wallace repented and look at Biden--he hung out with Robert Byrd(who I never knew hated blacks until 8 years ago or so)and now Biden would shine THEIR shoes(in public anyways.)

Who is a phony and who isn't has always been tough to figure out.

So if blacks flunk a test(repeatedly),they are owed millions of dollars. This is insanity.I had only read about George Wallace, but now I got to the story of 1.8 billion in payouts for blacks who never worked--and a PENSION,because they couldn't pass a test.Where does a city come up with these funds, not only for this specific case, but other payouts in black lottery situations? What kind of judge makes a ruling like this where lack of ability is rewarded and minimal standards for a job are eliminated.Incredible.

"Lawyers for the plaintiffs brought in experts who testified that much of the discrepancy in scores could be attributed to some of the questions being culturally biased in favor of whites.

In 2012, Manhattan federal Judge Kimba Wood ruled that requiring teachers to pass the Liberal Arts and Sciences Test violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964 because it wasn’t a proper indicator of better-performing teacher
She sided with the plaintiffs, who said the test had an illegal “disparate impact” on blacks and Latinos and that the city’s school system was liable for making hiring decisions based on its results.

The city argued it was simply following teaching licensing requirements mandated by the state and didn’t have any authority over the tests.

It’s spent decades fighting the case, causing the costs further mount."

GRA:Kimball Wood, obviously not qualified to be a judge.

The negro teacher that failed the test failed a number of times. Had tutors but it did him no good. The man just did not have the smarts. It was NOT the test. After taking the test a "number" of times you might have thought he had the whole test memorized. Could have used the test to prepare for the test. I guess not!

Kimba almost made it to the Supreme Court.
