Now she’s being hailed as an “inspiration”...seriously? How is wearing a symbol of oppression “inspirational”?
islam claims it’s a garment that shows devotion to religion, not a symbol of male control over women. I have to wonder, where are those western feminists who find the evil patriarchy in just about everything, but when it comes to the hijab or burqa, are nowhere in sight?
N.S.: feminazis are the worst enemies that western females have ever known.

What exactly are you trying to say here?
Do you require unanimity of viewpoints on this issue? Some see her as "inspirational". So what? Is that not OK with you?

Do you think a hijab is a "symbol of oppression"?
Believe it or not, it is a religious garment, one observant muslim women, or even not terribly observant but modest women, wear voluntarily. Have you ever been in a muslim country? Or in an area with a large muslim population? Seems likely not. Many wear it with pride. They are proud to be muslim.

That could be because they know it's a religious garment, one muslim women wear voluntarily, and not a "symbol of oppression"? Not to them anyway.
Are there women in countries where it's worn, or required to be worn, who would rather not wear it? Yes, probably. But they are a small minority.
Besides, it says right in the article:

So maybe they see her as "inspirational" because being VISIBLY MUSLIM on the field by wearing a hijab might inspire young muslim girls to play football. Or just inspire them. Or encourage them to have pride in being muslim by seeing a VISIBLY MUSLIM woman playing at the World Cup.
Is that OK with you?

She said: “We are honoured to be the first Arab country to take part in the Women's World Cup and we feel that we have to shoulder a big responsibility to give a good image, to show the achievements the Moroccan team has made.”]
Seems OK to me.

What do "feminazis" have to do with this simple story?
Feminism and feminists have done harm. And some of them are extreme, even crazy, to the point they may deserve the name "feminazi".
But no western women are mentioned in this story. Why bring them into it?
The only women mentioned are muslim women. They seem to think seeing a muslim football player wearing a hijab at the World Cup might inspire muslim girls.
Maybe it will. Seems possible anyway. Why not?

This is a very simple story about muslim women being proud, and hoping that seeing a muslim woman wearing traditional muslim head attire at the World Cup might inspire other young muslim women and girls.
Why try to make more out of it?

In one context, anthropomorphism means inappropriately projecting human traits or thought processes onto animals. And in this way trying to understand animal behavior.
There ought to be a term for inappropriately projecting western cultural pathology onto the rest of the world. Or looking at other parts of the world thru the lens of western culture and its problems. This seems is a case of that.
A typical muslim woman who wears traditional muslim attire does not see doing so as "a symbol of (her) oppression".
You should be happy the feminazis are minding their own business. For a change. And leaving the muzzie women alone. Let the muzzies do what they want.
