Harry Caray tweeted: “Former Cub third baseman—old number 10—Ron DeSantis was involved in a car accident today. Hope he’s well enough to go against the Mets’ Jerry Koosman tonight.”

Steve Stone: “Harry, that’s Ron Santo you’re thinking about.”

Harry: “That’s what I said—Ron DeSanto. He plays on the same team as left fielder Billy Dee Williams.”

Stone: “No, it’s just Billy Williams—Billy Dee Williams is an actor.”

Harry: “Steve, I don’t know how you keep your job being wrong all the time—hey, look, the former mayor of NYC, Bill Blasio.”

Stone: “I give up.”

Seen and prompted Harry to show the net he was famous for. Tried to catch foul balls hit toward the broadcaster's box. He did show and was glad to do so.

I was a Harry Caray fan,a White Sox fan back when they had not only White SOX,but White GUYS on the roster.Mostly south of the border types on the team, the last 5 years.Harry and Jimmy Piersall were one of the great comedy teams anywhere and as entertaining a baseball broadcast as you could have.(early 1980s).

"Steve,I don't know HOW you keep your job being wrong all the time."

Reminds me of the old Miller Lite commercials with Bob Uecker. Bob playing Trivial Pursuit: "Bob, what band created the first rock opera?" Bob: "WHO???" "You're right!!!" Priceless. Now, just a memory of the (long-gone) "good old days" of watching TV. -RM
