Former Maryland Gov. Parris Glendening said he knew FedEx Field was destined to fail, but traded his support to bring the NFL to Baltimore.

Decades ago, there was Landover Mall in that 'hood. The mall was one of the biggest malls in the D.C. area.
Then the sun went down.
And so, too, went the mall.

Mall of America in Minnesota used to be a popular tourist destination. Still is? Have had trouble there from a disgruntled demographic. Need I say more?
