I doubt anyone EVER made a "pass" at Debra.
You never know if they'll be unwanted unless you try.In this case,it may have been "wanted",but revisionist history is the current fad.Most "passes" are made with pretty good indications/confidence that you won't be rejected.
Or plenty of booze is involved.
Either way.
