He's going to be waiting a LONG time.
The extreme animosity toward Trump you saw, and still see, is obviously not due to only some of the things he said (and to a lesser extent did) -- it's also an open expression, in this case toward a particular individual, of the contempt the political and media elites feel for under- and working class Whites -- because that's how they see Trump: boorish and stupid.
To understand how extreme this contemptuous disregard is: these same political and media elites watched passively as 'free trade' de-industrialized huge swaths of America, causing economic devastation for literally tens of millions of people, the vast majority of them working class Whites -- these elites simply didn't care -- then for an encore they ignored the ensuing tsunami of opioid abuse, which at this point has killed nearly a million people (not to mention the human cost of addiction).
Personally, I agree with them about Trump being boorish and stupid.
But many of these people don't even have enough self-awareness to ask: How did someone like Trump get elected president?
At this point, anti-Trumpism is also a kind of learned behavior; it's political performance art -- people align themselves with the prevailing, establishment narrative to gain approval on e.g. social media, as well as to avoid trouble in their lives ('cancel culture').
