N.S.: Republican presidents, going back to Reagan (and including Trump), had generations to fight this shadow state, but not only did nothing to eradicate it, they encouraged its metastacization.
Christopher Rufo was a guest on Tucker Carlson on Sept 1. Tucker gave Rufo about 6 minutes to describe what he'd learned about "Critical Race Theory" indoctrination in the Treasury Dept, the FBI and Sandia National Laboratory [which makes nuclear weapons]. Within a few days Trump tweeted: "This is a sickness that cannot be allowed to continue. Please report any sightings so we can quickly extinguish!"
He issued an Executive Order directing that such training in federal departments cease immediately.
What follows are relevant tweets and quotes by many, including a capsule 47s summary of Critical Race Theory by a presenter Ashley Shackleford, the EO from OMB after Trump's directive, the Tucker-Russo interview itself and good summary quotes on the EO by Real Clear Politics.
Then there are some Sailer & Ibram X. Kendi tweets. You may remember Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter recently made a $10 million donation --- no-strings-attached --- to Kendi's Center for Anti-racist Research at Boston U. Here's Dorsey's tweet announcing his gift:
JACK @jack "$10M to Dr. Ibram Kendi and the Center for Antiracist Research at BU. This research will inform and fuel much needed and overdue policy change. I appreciate you Dr. Kendi, and I'm grateful for your work!" Aug 20, 2020
Kendi is best known for his proposed constitutional amendment, worth re-reading for it's capsule description of what the anti-racist/critical race theorists have in store for us:
"To fix the original sin of racism, Americans should pass an anti-racist amendment to the U.S. Constitution that enshrines two guiding anti-racist principals [sic]: Racial inequity is evidence of racist policy and the different racial groups are equals. The amendment would make unconstitutional racial inequity over a certain threshold, as well as racist ideas by public officials (with 'racist ideas' and 'public official' clearly defined). It would establish and permanently fund the Department of Anti-racism (DOA) comprised of formally trained experts on racism and no political appointees. The DOA would be responsible for preclearing all local, state and federal public policies to ensure they won't yield racial inequity, monitor those policies, investigate private racist policies when racial inequity surfaces, and monitor public officials for expressions of racist ideas. The DOA would be empowered with disciplinary tools to wield over and against policymakers and public officials who do not voluntarily change their racist policy and ideas."
Ibram X. Kendi is, of course, not happy about Trump's EO --- reflected in several tweets below.
Also included are some quotes on the origins of "Critical Race Theory." It's founder is Harvard Law Professor Derrick Bell, a major influence on Barack Obama.

FULL TEXT OF THE SEPT 4, 2020 MEMO FROM RUSSELL VOUGHT, DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET:SUBJECT: Training in the Federal Government
"It has come to the President's attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date 'training' government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda. For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that 'virtually all White people contribute to racism' or where they are required to say that they 'benefit from racism.' According to press reports, in some cases these training have further claimed that there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.
"These types of 'trainings' not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce. We can be proud that as an employer, the Federal government has employees of all races, ethnicities, and religions. We can be proud that Americans from all over the country seek to join our workforce and dedicate themselves to public service. We can be proud of our continued efforts to welcome all individuals who seek to serve their fellow Americans as Federal employees. However, we cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce.
"The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions. Accordingly, to that end, the Office of Management and Budget will shortly issue more detailed guidance on implementing the President's directive. In the meantime, all agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on 'critical race theory/'white privilege,' or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil. In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and/or to divert Federal dollars away from these unAmerican propaganda training sessions.
"The President, and his Administration, are fully committed to the fair and equal treatment of all individuals in the United States. The President has a proven track record of standing for those whose voice has long been ignored and who have failed to benefit from all our country has to offer, and he intends to continue to support all Americans, regardless of race, religion, or creed. The divisive, false, and demeaning propaganda of the critical race theory movement is contrary to all we stand for as Americans and should have no place in the Federal government."
THE MAN WHO SPARKED THE TRUMP TWEETS AND EXECUTIVE ORDER: CHRISTOPHER F. RUFO [research fellow at the Discovery Institute, contributing editor, City Journal] @realchrisrufo
"As I told @TuckerCarlson tonight: I call on President @realDonaldTrump to immediately issue an executive order abolishing critical race theory from the federal government. There is no place for this toxic, divisive, pseudoscientific ideology in our public institutions." Sept 1, 2020 6m video of Rufo on Tucker
RUFO ON TUCKER CARLSON (Sep 1, 2020): "This is something I've been investigating for the last six months. It's absolutely astonishing how crtical race theory has pervaded every institution in the federal government. What I've discovered is that critical race theory has become in essence the default ideology of the federal bureaucracy and is now being weaponized against the American people.
"I'd like to share three investigations that I've unleashed that show the kind of depth this critical race theory, a cult indoctrination, and the danger and destruction it can wreak. First the Treasury Department. I broke the story on the Treasury Department which held a seminar earlier this year from a man named Howard Ross, a diversity trainer who has billed the federal government for more than $5 million dollars [sic] over the past 15 years conducting seminars on critical race theory and he told Treasury employees
[IMAGE ON TUCKER'S SCREEN: "Watch Robin D'Angelo on YouTube, the author of White Fragility. She talks about how white people struggle to own their racism. (9 minutes) Here's another while she discusses the roots of white supremacy, she asserts virtually all white people, no matter how 'woke' they are, contribute to racism. (22 minutes)"]
essentially that America was a fundamentally white supremacist country and, I quote, 'Virtually all white people uphold the system of racism and white superiority' and was essentially denouncing the country and asking white employees at the Treasury Department and affiliated organizations to accept their white privilege, accept their white racial superiority and accept essentially all of the baggage that comes with this reducible essence of whiteness.
"Second, this is not by any means limited to the Treasury Department. Critical race theory has now infiltrated our criminal justice system. Just this week I released a story that the FBI is now holding weekly seminars on intersectionality, which is a hard left academic theory that reduces people to network of racial, gender, and sexual orientation identities that intersect in complex ways and determine whether you are an oppressor or oppressed. Obviously, with the white straight male — such as FBI director Christopher Wray — being at the top of this pyramid of evil.
"And third, this is a major story. Critical race theory is now infiltrating into our scientific establishment. A few weeks ago I released a story that critical race theorists at the Sandia National Laboratory, which creates our nuclear weapons arsenal, sent their white male executives on a three-day re-education camp to deconstruct their white male culture, and actually force them to write letters of apology to women and people of color. Whistle blowers within Sandia National Laboratories have now spoken out, but laboratory executives have dispatched counter-intelligence teams to quickly erase their communications, silence, and shut them down.
"And this is really the bottom line. There are some great people in D. C. such as Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri that are starting to push back, but conservatives need to wake up, that this is an existential threat to the United States and that the bureaucracy — even under the Trump administration — is now being weaponized against core traditional American values.
"And I'd like to make it explicit. The President and the White House — it's in their authority and power — to immediately issue an executive order abolishing critical race theory training from the Federal Government.
"And I call on the President to immediately issue this executive order and stamp out this destructive, divisive pseudo-scientific ideology at its roots. And I think that it's something that he's denounced — this kind of Black Lives Matter and neo-Marxist rhetoric in places like Portland and Seattle. But it's time to take action and destroy it within his own administration."
TUCKER: "The consequences of what you've just described are profound. I think we're seeing some of them now on our streets. But I want to get to the second example because it may be the most troubling of all, the Department of Justice. So the underlying idea behind our entire justice system is that all of us are treated equally under the laws of the United States. Your race, your gender, who you sleep with, are irrelevant in the eyes of the law. How could the FBI, which is armed and empowered to uphold those laws be disseminating lies like this, which are exactly contrary to their mission. I mean, how corrosive is that? How scary is that?"
RUFO: "It's extremely corrosive. And what we're seeing is that the institutions of the federal government, the actual bureaucracies and agencies and this kind of permanent administrative state has really abandoned the core American principles of equality under the law, of judging individuals as individuals on their merits and they are now adapting this radical left ideology of judging people from their group identity, and it's absolutely terrifying that the FBI which has almost kind of plenary physical authority in the United States would be adapting this ideology and I think it's a [red alert?] moment, and all Americans should be deeply worried about their country."
TUCKER: "They should be. This has nothing to do with this next election. It has to do with their future as a nation. Very quickly, there are reports that this is going on in the United States military. Is that true?"
RUFO: "Yeah, I've had some leaks from inside the U. S. military, in the Air Force and the Navy. I'm still working on these stories to source them, to confirm them. But what I can say is this . . . starting in 2011 with an Obama executive order, mandating diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the federal government, they've created these offices of diversity and inclusion who are ostensibly supporting greater diversity, but in practice, according to sources throughout the federal government, serve as almost internal intelligence services to perpetuate this ideology and to root out conservative ideas and ultimately purge conservative employees."
TUCKER: "A diverse country can't handle this for long. We need to unified by equality under the law or we won't be unified . . ." ("Critical Race Theory Has Infiltrated the Federal Government" Christopher Rufo on Fox News, Sept 1, 2020)
REAL CLEAR POLITICS: TRUMP EXECUTIVE ORDER ON CRITICAL RACE THEORY EXPLAINED: "On a Friday evening and as November looms, the White House has opened another front in the culture war. At the direction of the president, the Office of Management and Budget is ordering all federal agencies to 'cease and desist' any government training programs that include any reference to 'critical race theory' or 'white privilege,' RealClearPolitics has exclusively learned.
"The theory has long been in vogue within academics. Trump now seeks to root it out within the administrative state. Among the ideas underpinning CRT, now formally condemned by the White House, is that the law and all accompanying legal institutions are inherently racist, and that race itself has no biological grounds. The concept of ethnicity is, instead, the product of a white society that uses systems and institutions to advance its own interests at the expense of minorities.
"Why does this academic thesis matter? Because it drives government action. And because, during this summer of unrest following George Floyd's death at the hands of [N.S.: that's a lie] a Minneapolis police officer, the president has been asked numerous times if he believes that systemic racism is a problem in America. His answer has been no, and a clearer picture of his thinking comes in the form of a memo authored by OMB Director Russ Vought.
'It has come to the President's attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date 'training' government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda,' Vought writes in the memo, obtained first by RCP.
'For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that "virtually all White people contribute to racism" or where they are required to say that they "benefit from racism,"' he continued.
"As the country grapples with questions of race and equality in policing, Trump has ordered that any programing relating to 'white privilege' end immediately. According to the White House, such ideas are 'divisive, anti-American propaganda.'
"The crossover between academic theory and federal work training programs, Vought writes, is 'counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our nation has stood since its inception' and also 'engenders division and resentment within the federal workforce.'
'We cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce,' the memo to all federal agencies reads.
"Agencies are instructed to identify any contracts or agency spending that funds programs teaching federal employees about critical race theory and/or white privilege. This includes, RCP has learned, any effort to teach or suggest that either "the United States is an inherently racist or evil country" or that 'any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.'" BREITBART ON HARVARD LAW PROFESSOR DERRICK BELL, THE FOUNDING FATHER OF CRITICAL RACE THEORY AND A MAJOR INFLUENCE ON PRESIDENT BARRACK OBAMA:
"The Critical Race Theory training was exposed by Christopher Rufo, a contributing editor for the Manhattan Institute's City Journal. Yet the first to sound the alarm was Andrew Breitbart. In a story that was only published after his death in March 2012, video that Breitbart had teased at the Conservative Political Action Conference just weeks before was finally released. It showed a young Barack Obama speaking at a protest at Harvard Law School in favor of Professor Derrick Bell, who had clashed with the university over the issue of faculty diversity.
"More than that, Bell was the founder of the doctrine of Critical Race Theory. Critical Race Theory holds that the United States is racist by design, because its Constitution and all of its other institutions emerged in a context where slavery was legal. According to the theory, the very institution of private property in the U.S. is corrupt because it was enshrined in a system that saw black people as chattels.
"In books like Faces at the Bottom of the Well, Bell developed his theory further, arguing that continued black suppression remained part of America's cultural identity. . . . To Bell, the civil rights movement was regrettable, in the sense that it misled black Americans into believing that equality before the law was sufficient. The real problem, he believed, was that the legal system itself was fundamentally racist. Bell saw only one road to salvation: if the U.S. amended the Constitution to include socioeconomic rights — such as health care, housing, education, and the like — it could undo the original sin of slavery by enshrining the redistribution of wealth. Such a constitutional revolution could liberate poor people of every race while also restoring the humanity of black people.
"Obama may not have studied directly with Bell at Harvard Law, but he was influenced by his ideas — so much so that the two corresponded after Obama graduated, and Bell blurbed the first edition of Obama's memoir, Dreams from my Father. As a lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, Obama also assigned Bell's work to his students. Obama's mentor and 2008 campaign debate coach, Professor Charles Ogletree, quipped that they had kept Obama's connection to Bell hidden.
"When Breitbart's video was released, the mainstream media tried to mock it. Others, like the Rolling Stone, minimized the radicalism of Critical Race Theory: 'Anyone who thinks power and race don't figure in how the law is applied or that racism is a thing of the past is not paying attention.'
"But it affected how Obama thought about America — racism is 'part of our DNA,' he told NPR — and it affected his governance, including his support for the violent Black Lives Matter movement. Today, Critical Race Theory is everywhere. It is the basis for the idea of 'systemic racism' — i.e. that racism is part of the institutional structure of the United States, a theory that has now been embraced by Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden. Elementary schools teach elements of Critical Race Theory to children; corporations assign readings on 'white privilege' to their employees; professional sports leagues encourage fans to support protests against 'systemic racism' in our society." PRESCIENT ANDREW BREITBART WARNS OF COMING "ALL-WHITES-ARE-RACISTS" POLITICS IN A 2012 CLIP FROM SPEECH TO CPAC (Beginning at 14:46-16:22 of this 18m clip):
ANDREW BREITBART: "I want to end it on a media-bashing note, because that will uplift me . . . We're watching you to play the race card, MSNBC. We saw how you cynically placed the Reverend Sharpton in a position of absurdist power. This is Dadaism [Merriam Webster: 'a movement in art and literature based on deliberate irrationality and negation of traditional artistic values'] — I learned that in college — that they would allow for this guy to have a show. This is Dadaism. It's freaky. It's Andy Kaufmann. It doesn't make sense — unless you understand what they are doing. This is gonna be the dog whistle election cycle. They tested him in 2011. So he and his pal Toure' and that punk Tim Jacob-Wise [Tim Wise] and Ed [Schultz] and Maddow can sit there and call everyone who's caucasian racist . . . he's a racist.
"That's a dog whistle . . . We're going to go after you. I bought a dog whistle factory [referring to Breitbart?] and I'm giving you dog whistles and we're going to listen to every word that comes out of your mouth and we're going to hold you to the same standards that you hold us — which is an impossible one — and you're gonna have a helluva a time in 2012 because America has finally awoken to your Saul Alinksy bullshit tactics and we're coming to get you." Look at the NEGRESS lecturing to the white people. At least they could have had someone else conducting the "class". Tons of spandex hardly "becoming" for the NEGRESS.
