nfl blacks Protest—Fans Boo—Social (and Regular) Media Attack Fans
(Fox4kc) KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It was supposed to be a show of racial unity, when Chiefs and Texans players locked arms in a moment of silence prior to Thursday’s game. Instead, some fans in the stands booed.
[N.S.: It was a show of racist unity, just as it had been planned.]
The moment quickly went viral on Twitter, with “booing” racking up over 45,000 tweets during the game.
Reaction was swift on social media with many denouncing the boos.
Kansas City councilman Eric Bunch tweeted, “Some NFL fans booing the players for standing and locking arms in a moment of silent unity proves that for them the ‘standing for the flag’ was always about perpetuating white supremacy.”
[GRA: Instead of black hypocrisy.
N.S.: There’s no logic to Eric Bunch’s statement. For him, black players (and some White Uncle Toms) protesting the flag was and remains a show of black supremacism.]
Mayor Quinton Lucas tweeted, “We’re a city of good people. I heard boos too. But we also have hundreds of thousands more around here who respect the message the players are sharing; who respect the rights of our players and people to voice a strong message and who are working to make us better each day.”
Other fans and observers tweeted their disappointment.
[GRA: Lots of accusations of racism against the fans who—by purchasing a ticket that helps pay salaries to these black players—have every right to boo them. The shaming started by many White reporters and bloggers, is predictable and vast.
“If you boo unity, you’re just a racist,” said many lib writers.
But one high profile person got it right, in my humble opinion.]
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley took issue with the backlash, tweeting, “Missouri has the best fans in the country. Don’t blame them for being tired of NFL/corporate woke politics hammered down their throats.”
--GRA: Gutsy comment—what will SJWs do to him? I didn’t watch the game, by the way. I think I’ve lost 99% of my interest in pro sports—which is too bad.
--GRA
Likewise, GRA. Sports are supposed to entertain us, but the totalitarian black will to power and its White “allies” will not tolerate that. Thus, we must be made miserable just when we turn to those things that are supposed to relieve so much of life’s misery. And pay for the privilege!
No, thank you.
