Baseball Announcer Can't Apologize Enough to Boy-Molesters
"W": Well, we learn from this article that he was apparently referring to Kansas City when he called someplace a "fag capital" during a telecast of the Cincy Reds vs KC Royals.
What does it tell us about the US of today that a heterosexual has to beg to homosexuals to keep his job? That "apologizing" to people who molest boys is necessary and "redemptive"?
Is this a direction we should all take "Pride" in?
N.S.: Note how PC The Post has become.

Back in the 80s and 90s,Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersall electrified radio audiences with controversial comments just about every day,on White Sox broadcasts. They were more entertaining than the team--except for a couple years.I listened to a lot of sports as a kid:Johnny Most,in Boston, was the opposite of Ernie Harwell in Detroit as far as style went--both tremendous announcers.Jack Buck,Mike Shannon in St.Louis--top notch.Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhull in Cincy; The key was chemistry--they all had fun on air(probably off air too with post game suds).Vince Lloyd and Lou Boudreau at Wrigley were more conservative announcers, but good.Bob Uecker(still announcing)in Milwaukee for 40 years--a legend.
Today,personalities are not allowed out--unless you're black.
Then we hear plenty of what I get sick of hearing very quickly--black b.s.--so I do not watch much at all.I stick to horse racing.

Hard for me to believe Kansas City the fag capital. San Fran Freako more likely.
