I don't really get the liberal love for The Wire nor the conservative hate. The show was by far the most honest portrayal of negroes on television. The only thing it failed in really was showing the depth of hatred negroes have for white people, but that did pop up occasionally. It fairly accurately showed a mostly civilized but almost completely corrupt negro middle class trying to manage a hopelessly violent and stupid underclass that outnumbers them 2:1. We got to see the utter amorality, violence, and chaos that is the negro norm. How does that please liberals or anger conservatives?
