A Black History Month Moment

Aside from the racist general character of this mass murder, two statements from the report below stand out:

“According to the report, James Poore told the witnesses that he shot one of the victims because she could identify him and that Cedric shot the other three.”

If you plan on robbing people in their apartment in the building where you live, and you’re worried about being identified, you wear a mask. These guys are just into murdering people, or at least murdering whites.

Mayor Dewey Bartlett:

"We can now get to the essence of this issue and that is much bigger than crime, it's about poverty.”

What does mass murder have to do with poverty? Nothing at all.

Police Arrest 2 Brothers for Murders of 4 Women at Fairmont Terrace Apartments

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Two arrests have been made in the murders of four women at Fairmont Terrace Apartments last month, police announced Wednesday afternoon.

Brothers, James Stanford Poore, 32, and Cedric Dwayne Poore, 39, were arrested and booked on four complaints each of first degree murder, Chief Chuck Jordan said.

On Monday, January 7, 2013, twin sisters Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Powell-Melchor, 23; Misty Nunley, 33, and Julie Jackson, 55 were found shot in the head, with their hands tied behind their backs inside a south Tulsa apartment, police say.
A 3-year-old boy was also found inside the apartment, unharmed.

Chief Jordan said the murders were not gang-related. According to arrest reports, witnesses told investigators that the brothers left an apartment in the same building at Fairmont Terrace Apartments, near 61st and Peoria, saying they were going to pull a "lick" at the victims' apartment.

Witnesses told police the brothers returned about 20 minutes later with a bag full of drugs, cash, and jewelry. According to the report, James Poore told the witnesses that he shot one of the victims because she could identify him and that Cedric shot the other three. The witnesses told investigators the brothers split the money and that Cedric Poore took the jewelry to pawn.

When he was interviewed Wednesday, James Poore confirmed to investigators that he knew one of the victims and that he was in the apartment where the witnesses placed him. Before invoking his right to remain silent, he told investigators he knew one of the victims had used and sold illegal drugs and that Cedric drove a black van to the apartment the day of the murders.

The arrest report shows Cedric Poore denied being in the apartment the day of the murders and refused to speak to investigators any more.

Chief Jordan said the brothers both stayed at Fairmont Terrace Apartments. The property manager there told News On 6 that neither of them are on a lease.

Cedric Poore has been in Tulsa County jail on a traffic violation since January 14, and James Poore was arrested Wednesday morning. Department of Corrections records show both James and Cedric have been previously convicted and incarcerated for robbery with a firearm.

Chief Jordan said more arrests may still be made.

Mayor Dewey Bartlett released a statement Wednesday afternoon, in response to the news of the arrests:

"The Tulsa Police Department is known for their quick efforts of finding perpetrators and they indeed lived up to their stellar reputation for this case. I have the utmost confidence in Chief Chuck Jordan and the Tulsa Police Department and I knew they would bring in those involved with this hideous quadruple murder in very short order. Although a direct tip from the public cannot be identified as the catalyst that led to the arrests, tips are always important, which is part of great police work from our force."

"We can now get to the essence of this issue and that is much bigger than crime, it's about poverty. We're moving forward on our mission to establish a method to hold out-of-state apartment owners accountable for safe, secure and peaceful places to live. We continue to look down every possible avenue on how we can improve our city."

I just did a Google search on the Bob and Nancy Strait murder and found no new information. Nothing since the recent update on the Horton-Nichols murders either.

The media is evil. The malevolent media must go. That's TV, so called newspapers, magazines, left wing blogs and extreme left wing organizations like the SPLC, ADL, ACLU, NAACP, and others of their ilk. Whites only read about massacres like this on websites like this one.
Not only is the media evil it's criminally complicit with these evil criminals and their evil acts.

The mayor actually said that it was "bigger than crime, it's about poverty."? That's as moronic as it can get. He must feel the need to lie for political reasons as he apparently prefers to avoid touchy subjects. This 'poverty' excuse has worn thin by now. Pretty ugly way to die, being tied up and then killed. It always seems more tragic when more than one person in a family gets snuffed out.
The defense lawyers will resort to their usual sleazy tricks. They'll put the victims on trial and say they were pot users, that they were of bad moral character and had it coming. They'll dress up the defendants with jackets, ties, haircuts and fake scholarly looking glasses. They'll say they were neglected and abused, that they're really too dumb to know what they were doing, that they're mentally ill, etc etc.
And in the end, if convicted, what happens? Two more pieces of garbage will be added to the overloaded penal system where they'll be at home. The usual crowd will be out there screaming that there's too many blacks in prison, that the system is at fault, that they're all really just victims. It just never ends.

'The essence of this issue is much bigger than crime'? No, it's not. Nothing is bigger than the murder of innocent and helpless victims. Povert didn't pull the trigger that day. Out of state apartment building owners didn't pull the trigger. Black thugs pulled the trigger. The essence of this issue is black thugs being black thugs.

This mayor should should be fired and politically blacklisted for expressing these wildly irresponsible and fundamentally hateful views. Unfortunately, he's simply parroting the current American political mythology that blacks are never responsible for their own actions.

Wait a minute. I'm confused here. Liberals blame black criminals behavior on 'lack of opportunity', yet what were they saying about the shooters (white guys)? They blamed that on "white privilege." Essentially, liberals are saying blacks need more money to be law abiding and whites need less money to be law abiding. There were lots of poor White Americans during the 1930s, but there wasn't an epidemic of crime in this country then.

This was a disgusting and horrible crime, but what does the fact the victims were white have to do with anything? They were targeted over drugs, not the color of their skin. Why are you making race the issue? Isn't that what you're complaining the MSM does?
