"socialite pleads guilty in shooting death of top cop in belize"

On May 28, 2021, in the island nation of belize, canadian socialite Jasmine Hartin shot police superintendent Henry Jemmott to death (in the head) with his own semi-automatic pistol on a pier in San Pedro. Hartin has been charged with “manslaughter by negligence,” for which the typical sentence is reportedly no prison time.
Hartin is a divorcee with two kids from british billionaire lord Michael Ashcroft’s son, Andrew. Her ex has custody of the children.
Hartin had been drinking with the island nation’s obese, police superintendent Henry Jemmott, and walked with him to the pier, where they sat on the edge.
Anyone who believes Jasmine Hartin’s story (“I just want Henry’s family to have peace now and I want this whole thing to be behind all of us so we can heal,” “it just went off,” [?!] “I’m definitely not a murderer. And I am being set up. I am. I really am. It’s such a small country, everybody’s scared of Ashcroft here. They own the bank, they own the newspapers, they own the economy of this country”) has oatmeal for brains.
Oh, but that wasn’t her original story. At the time, she claimed that a mysterious assassin in a kayak riding by had shot and killed superintendent Jemmott. Oh, and another of her stories was that she had recently suffered an “attempted rape.”
(new york post:] “The socialist [sic] has denied being romantically involved with the law enforcement chief [police Superintendent Henry Jemmott] — and said he had asked her to rub his shoulder on the fateful night only because he had gone fishing earlier.
“Hartin’s attorney, Orson Elrington, told reporters that her main concern ‘was to not put the family of the victim through the anguish of having to go through a trial proceeding, so she consistently expressed her concern about that.”… Everything Jasmine Hartin recently said was scripted by her high-priced attorney, Orson Elrington. Ignore it all. As for her/his assertions that her ex’ family owns Belize, and is setting her up, if it was so dangerous for her there, what was she doing there?
Police Superintendent Jemmott obviously wanted to have sex with Hartin on the dock, and she had to know that, and have wanted the same thing. My late mom explained how a similar situation, Mike Tyson’s “rape” of a beauty pageant contestant, was anything but. The girl went up to Tyson’s hotel suite, and lay on his bed in the wee small hours of the morning. And they had sex. (Tyson’s victim had assumed he was going to marry her, but he had no interest in matrimony. It was a “morning-after rape.”)
So, why did Jasmine Hartin decide to kill Henry Jemmott?
In any event, this was a murder.
