The following headline shows how five decades — 50 years of saturation bombing U.S. workforce by admitting more immigrants (legal and illegal), refugees, and more than 30 different categories of visas (!), many of which were written by special interests to keep from hiring American workers over the past five decades. A blockbuster two-paragraph statement written by financial analyst Dave Kranzler stated in a 2013 quote that from 1978 through 2017 — 39 years — the US economy could NOT produce enough jobs for U.S.-born Americans to keep up with annual population growth. I stopped at 2017 — the last year of the Obama administration — because Donald Trump is the first president in 40 years to make very significant reductions in his first four years of welfare-dependent Third World refugees.

Moreover, Trump has tightened up regulations regarding U.S. corporations’ insatiable appetite for hiring foreign H-1B visa holders at 30-40 percent less than better qualified and trained U.S. college-educated American tech workers; I believe this tightening of regulations could yield an additional 100,000 US college graduates. He is also the first president in decades to begin enforcing The Public Charge Doctrine where immigrants must be self-supporting and not become public charges—in other words, immigrants must not become welfare charges and/or sponsors of immigrants must have adequate financial resources to support sponsored immigrants during the first three or five years in the US. The Public Charge Doctrine has existed under several revised versions for more than 150 years. Since the early 1990s, more than 2 million H-1B visa holders, primarily from India, have taken jobs from US STEM graduates. Some readers may be aware it is very common for American workers to have to train their H-1B replacements, in order to get their severance packages.
Now everyone knows why Trump has been the only president in the past 50 years who has stated from the very beginning: BUY AMERICAN, HIRE AMERICAN.
Biden voted for NAFTA and he, Hillary, and Obama supported the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Korea-U.S. (KORUS) FTAs. Trump took the U.S. out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership within two weeks of his inauguration. And stats show both GW Bush and Barack Obama administrations as the two worst administrations for U.S. job losses post-WWII.

I have a question for you Gwynneth: If you're going to take on a "global" viewpoint, and blame "white men" for everything, then what do white men have to do with the cultural traditions in Africa in which young women are sexually mutilated when they are children? What do white men have to do with the unprecedented mass sexual violence perpetrated on women, children and babies in Africa? What do white men have to do with female infanticide in Asia that has resulted in as many as 200 missing women in this world? How are white men responsible for millions of baby girls in Asian thrown into garbage dumps every year? What do white men have to do with "honor killings" of young girls in Asian countries? What do white men have to do with traditions of child bride marriage which is rampant in Latin America, Africa and Asia?
"Goop" really needs to get a grip, it's white men that have been on the forefront of outlawing and trying to end those horrors, it's non white men fighting to retain them. That's the reality of the world, not her liberal fantasy.

He actually related two stories of sexual abuse in his memoir, the 2nd one was about a man who molested him when he was incapacitated at about 18 yrs. old. OK, I get that one but the "blackmail" story appears to have been about a women. My question is: What straight 15 yr. old boy needs to be blackmailed into having sex with a woman? When I was 15, I thought I was the last 15 yr. old virgin in the world, I sure as heck didn't need to be blackmailed into it. In fact, I would have been "Yeah! Please blackmail me"! In fact, I would have said, let's just skip the blackmail and get into it! She didn't have to be perfect, just female and breathing. McConaughey refers to some Catholic guilt about having pre marital relations with a woman but if his guilt was so bad then why didn't that stop his little soldier from performing?
There's nothing more annoying than these men, so wracked with liberal guilt, they have to jump on the same "I've been sexually abused" bandwagon that women occupy. Not that it can't happen, but when they relate heterosexual coming of age stories as if they are some kind of traumatic event, I'm not buying it.
My first girlfriend was 18 yrs. old and I was 16, then my second serious girlfriend was 29 yrs. old and I was only 17. Technically illegal but I didn't give a damn, still don't, it was a great experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Disclaimer: I haven't read McConaughey's memoir so I don't know how much the authors personal agenda is being overlayed in this article, maybe if you spoke to McConaughey personally, it wouldn't be quite the same but the mentality expressed in the article is common in this country nowadays, men are being wimpified to reflect liberal ideology, white men that is. If they are Muslim, latino, black or East Asian, then their patriarchal mindsets, sexism, sexual violence, child abuse et al is much more tolerated, if not outright ignored.
