Drunken Indian woman stabs her husband to death, and she doesn’t even get a ticket for littering.

Can you imagine how completely messed up these race-based identity politics are in Canada?

American Indians living on the reservation [do they have them in Canada?] exempt from ordinary Canadian law.

What is not mentioned here, is the fact that millions have 'legally' emigrated into Canada - an apparently easier/faster process than into the US - with millions more waiting in the wings, all hoping to use their time in Canada as a 'springboard' to the south.
The vast majority of these people have the US as their final destination.
The last corporate job I had for an international company based in CT was a stunning revelation.
Specializing in medical technology (with many billions in annual revenue worldwide), management had put in place an H1-B 'skilled foreign labor' program - with an emphasis on hiring Indian and Chinese, over native Americans.
Something like 60% of my division was foreign - either H1-B holders, or on a green-card track to become naturalized US citizens.
All of them had emigrated to the US from Canada - without exception.
Such were their numbers that even in the presence of native-born Americans, most simply couldn't be bothered speaking English - true especially among the Chinese.
These were not off-the-book construction jobs, but 'high-tech', good paying jobs.
There wasn't one lab where this schizophrenic communication standard did not lead to trouble - many times compromising safety: no one could give a damn.
Any mention of such problems were quickly shot down as some kind of 'assault on diversity'.
The final upshot was steadily declining productivity at this facility - one mismanaged project after another - to the point that overseas headquarters simply closed the whole damn thing down after only a few years.
This after a multimillion dollar renovation and modernization of the campus.

I expect that millions of US workers have experienced something similar in their fields.

Intriguing. What was the company?

German multinational - but it doesn't make a difference.
Every 'multinational' first - now every large US firm - does pretty much the same damn thing.
The more technologically focused, the more foreign staff you will see - this is the modus operandi now for all of them. One reason: they are cheaper.
There were more f*cking Canadian 3rd-worlders working in that place than Americans - and speaking their own native damn language - than English.
The Fed Gov't has facilitated this for years - doubtful the Trump administration has changed a damn thing, no matter what he's been shouting at his rallies.
There are legion of Fortune 500 companies happy to find people to 'do the work that Americans won't do'.
Except that premise is a f*cking lie.
