Over the long weekend before the Mississippi and Michigan primaries, the sky above Sea Island was black with corporate jets.
Apple’s Tim Cook, Google’s Larry Page and Eric Schmidt, Napster’s Sean Parker, Tesla Motors’ Elon Musk, and other members of the super-rich were jetting in to the exclusive Georgia resort, ostensibly to participate in the annual World Forum of the American Enterprise Institute.

Among the advertised topics of discussion: “Millennials: How Much Do They Matter and What Do They Want?”

That was the cover story.

As revealed by the Huffington Post, Sea Island last weekend was host to a secret conclave at the Cloisters where oligarchs colluded with Beltway elites to reverse the democratic decisions of millions of voters and abort the candidacy of Donald Trump.

Napster's Sean Parker is from Northern Virginia. The C.I.A. offered this self-taught computer genius a job when he was but a high school student. He turned The Agency down. http://www.forbes.com/profile/sean-parker/ And Google is now in bed with the Pentagon thanks to Google's purchase of Boston Dynamics, a DARPA funded start-up that makes autonomous fighting machines (a/k/a robots) for Uncle Sam. http://www.bostondynamics.com

Republican debate tonight was complete opposite of Detroit .
No new ground was broken--and hasn t been for weeks.Trump was either bored or
self restrained.Rubio and Cruz couldn t land a punch tonight to make Trump get angry.Kasich stuck to his usual routine. If there s such a thing as "Debate Tedium",it was in full view tonight.Obviously there was a backlash from the Detroit debate and the candidates toned it down.If I don t see another debate until October, that would be fine with me.

The Two Donald Trumps
Todays endorsement of Trump by Ben Carson is sure to unleash campaign commercials aplenty showing Trump himself saying,"Yes there are two Donald Trumps".Cruz and Rubio will show them first and Clinton later in a presumed Trump/Clinton general election. He himself admitted it after Carson brought the topic up during his presser.
I know what Trump was saying--He's said it before. He talked about this with Sean Hannity, basically saying he will change his style as needed. The public gravitated to Trump for being foul,anti-establishment and honest. They also connected to his "build a wall" and "deport the illegals"mantras.
But now the candidate says "That s just a public persona".Or it s not.How do we know what part of Trump is acting and what is real.
After several questions by the suddenly interested reporters who quizzed him:"Tell us more about these two Donald Trumps"--I think he backtracked and said,"There aren t really two Trumps the way you re interpretting it".But I think some damage is done. How does a voter have confidence in someone who says "what you re seeing in the debates is not the private person".
A weak moment?A miscalculation on Trumps part?We shall see.
