Jon Voight on the Trump Candidacy

Re-posted by Nicholas Stix

Truth be told, I’d have preferred that Voight run, but at 77 (78 on Inauguration Day, 2017), he’s way too old.

Jon Voight’s endorsement isn’t significant because he’s a world-famous actor, and a brilliant one, but because he’s a great patriot. However, there is a Hollywood significance to Voight’s years of fearless public opposition to “Obama.” As a young matinee idol, Jon Voight was a member of the Hollywood Left. With time, in teeth of a Hollywood that unconscionably, remorselessly moved ever leftward, he saw the error of his ways. Patriots have few friends in today’s Hollywood.

The videos below are hampered by the refusal, at first, of some very loud Tea Party demonstrators to shut up. However, as you will see, Voight eventually got most of them to restrain themselves enough—and he worked around their noise—to hear him speak. My only regret is that Voight’s prediction that “Obama” “will be a one-term president” proved false. And it was Mitt “the Invertebrate” Romney who ensured that the John Doe calling himself “Barack (sometimes ‘Hussein’) Obama” made it that way.

Jon Voight Continues, Part 9: “My Great, Freedom-Loving Americans, We Must Save America as We Knew It”

Veteran’s Day, 2014:

“Today is Veteran’s Day. We honor all our living and fallen heroes – thousands of young men who sacrificed their lives so we can live as free men. One of our own young Marines, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, was just released from a Mexican prison after long tortuous months, and we just found out from his own words during a Greta Van Susteran interview that he tried to kill himself with a broken light bulb that he plunged into his neck hoping to die, as to not endure his torture any longer.

“Needless to say, [Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi’s] incarceration was a total lie. He was totally innocent. President Obama has released known terrorist murderers in a trade for an American soldier who was believed to be a deserter.

“Obama had nothing to say for Sgt. Tahmooressi, who endured this unthinkable torture. He made no attempt to free him. Not one word was said in his defense. Obama’s view of what is right and wrong is totally distorted. There should be total outrage for his policies he will put into action. He must be stopped. Every freedom loving American should voice their outrage against his executive privilege.

“[Obama] wants to legalize all the illegal Mexicans, and every other illegal immigrant from other countries as well. Why? For their vote, for the 2016 election, for the Democrats. It will make no difference on the billions of dollars it will cost the American tax payers. It made no difference on the latest illegals he let come across the borders a few months ago. Children – unaccompanied by their parents, carrying all kind of illnesses – assimilating them into our society and our schools.

Every freedom loving American should voice their outrage against his executive privilege.”

N.S. correction: Jon Voight must have said, "Is President Obama creating a Civil War in our own country?" People are routinely so sloppy on social media!
