On Monday, Laurence Lovette was sentenced to "life without parole" for the second time. A recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling means offenders under 18 can't receive life without parole without mitigating factors being considered. Lovette made this statement:
"You know, people make mistakes. Nobody's perfect. I'm not the monster that y'all made me out to be," Lovette said Monday prior to Baddour sentencing him. "I know that this has been a traumatic ordeal for everybody involved. For that, I send my condolences to everybody who's been affected by it. If it means anything to anybody, it means something to me."
Judge Allen Baddour said "he felt there was no chance of Lovette being rehabilitated."
[N.S.: Irrelevant: Rehabilitation should never matter, where murder is concerned.]
A defense psychologist said, "Lovette appears as a self-centered, uncaring and callous person."
Wonder why anybody would think something like that?

Lovette is (still) awaiting trial for the January 2008 murder of Duke University graduate student Abhijit Mahato, who was killed inside his Durham apartment.

I don't know if you ever read Leonard Pitts articles but here is one you might want to critique. I posted a comment re is use of the racist pejorative "white boys", I doubt I'll get a cogent response to it. Jerry

For what that black animal, Larry Lovette, did to one from our own white gene pool, the pulchritudinous Eve Carson, he has clearly cheated his just destiny with the hangman, and said hangman's noose.
He should be hung by the neck, in public, and left swinging until he is dead, dead, dead. Further, he deserves nothing less than to "drop' without breaking his neck so he struggles mightily but also in vain, the same as he did to our beautiful white gene pool daughter, Eve Carson.
The name Lovette is eerily similar in sound to "love it", which is quite apparently what he was experiencing when he "did" Eve.
When will we non-liberal whites say enough is enough, and secede from white liberalism and their minion allies, the blacks, browns and Islamics, in their mission to destroy both our white wealth creating culture and our white, very special, gene pool?
Secession is the answer, the only answer. Thank you.
The most obscene thing that IL Gov. Quinn ever did was signing the Death Penalty termination bill. This means that Blacks can kill people at will without fearing the D.P. A 14 y/o white girl was killed in her home by a Black burglar who then used the family's cell phone to harass the dead girl's mom. When they caught up with him, they couldn't fry him. Gun Control, Communist Cosmopolitans as well as Democrats are the murderer's best friend.
