Pleasant Grove, Dallas: Trayvon Martin’s 14-Year-Old, Mexican Counterpart Gets Shot and Killed by George Zimmerman’s White Counterpart

A burglary ring of 13 and 14-year-olds. That’s Mexican family values for you.

Note that although WFAA reporter Craig Civale said that the shooting looks to authorities like a self-defense shooting, his written report says, “a grand jury will review the circumstances of the fatal shooting.”

If the shooting was in self-defense, it should not be going to a grand jury.

Before Sol Watchler went crazy and stalked his own girlfriend, he was New York State’s chief judge. Wachtler famously said, “A prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.” That leaves an innocent man’s liberty at the tender mercies of pit bull prosecutors. (If I were a prosecutor, you wouldn’t want anyone’s liberty left to my tender mercies!)

That is not the way our legal system is supposed to work. If someone legally shot someone in self-defense, it’s none of a grand jury’s business. Otherwise, you’re going to constantly have innocent people indicted, and forced to “prove” their innocence, as racist blacks (and their feminist allies) sought to do to three innocent, white lacrosse players in the Duke Rape Hoax, and are now trying to do to the white-enough, George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin Hoax. That means turning the presumption of innocence upside down, and completely politicizing the criminal law, such that it is the servant of whoever can mobilize the most bodies.

In New York, black supremacist preacher Herbert Daughtry has sought for years to use this trick in every police shooting of a black man, in order to railroad innocent cops. The idea is to use the threat of riots to get an innocent man indicted, and then use the same threat (as in the double jeopardy federal prosecution the four Rodney King LAPD cops were subjected to, the threat of black riots is called “the 13th juror” ) to get him railroaded. (More than anyone, Daughtry was responsible for the 1991 Crown Heights pogrom, in which Lemrick Nelson Jr. murdered rabbinical student Yankel Rosenbaum. Daughtry had called for pogroms since the 1970s, including once in my presence, in 1978.)

* * * Dallas homeowner shoots, kills 14-year-old intruder By Craig Civale WFAA April 9, 2012, 5:20 p.m., updated at 6:30 p.m. DALLAS — Two teenagers are in custody and a third is dead after an attempted break-in in southeast Dallas on Monday morning. Police said the suspects were betting on entering an empty house — not facing an armed homeowner. Investigators said the three young people rang the front doorbell of Lee Cobler's home in the 7300 block of Vallejo Drive. When no one answered, they went around the back and started trying to kick the door in. But Cobler, 51, was at home with an adult son. The son was on the phone with 911 when police said Cobler opened fire on the intruders, killing 14-year-old Luis Avila, a student at Hood Middle School. "He was able to make the right choice to protect his child," said Shirley Starks, president of the local homeowners' association. "It was important, because he did not know that those — whoever was coming through that door — was not going to kill all of them." Investigators are not saying that the teenagers were armed, but police were at Hood Middle School Monday afternoon interviewing students and offering counseling. Principal C.A. Williams sent out a letter to parents explaining that one of their students was killed in a burglary attempt. "Our thoughts and prayers are obviously with the family and close friends of the student who is no longer with us," she wrote. News 8 captured a video showing what's believed to be one of the teenage suspects being arrested just a few blocks away from the shooting scene. "It's surprising like to see like kids — 13-year-old kids — like breaking in nowadays," added Sarah Trevino, who was watching what happened. Residents in the Piedmont neighborhood have been on high alert after four burglaries in recent months, and Crime Watch officials said it was just a matter of time until something ended in a tragedy like this. "This can happen to any child that is doing something like this," Starks said. "Why weren't the parents watching him to make sure that he wasn't doing something like this, is my question." Police have the two other suspects in custody, ages 13 and 14. They have been charged with attempted burglary. Police spokesman Sgt. Warren Mitchell said no charges have been filed against Cobler, but a grand jury will review the circumstances of the fatal shooting.
