N.S.: Saint Elizabeth's is where they stuck traitor Ezra Pound, after his fellow traitors saved him from justice, after WWII. T.S. Eliot was not, technically, a traitor, because he had been prudent enough to abdicate his American citizenship in 1939, and become a subject of the british crown. (Who was Eliot rooting for during The War?) For that, the justice department should have ignored Eliot's entreaties, or demanded that he come back and take his friend's place.
