Should the msm Stop Using Laughable Stereotypes in Their Crime Reporting?

Emphasis added:

“Somewhat off topic, but speaking of stereotypes, isn’t it about time that the media stop reporting that every thuggish black teen who gets shot was ‘an aspiring rapper’? Because it’s become a laugh line. As precedent, recall that before his death, Trayvon Martin purchased Skittles and an Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail. That watermelon part was just too painfully stereotypical for the media, so they called it Arizona Iced Tea. Maybe the media needs to similarly deep six the term ‘aspiring rapper.’”

AOF: Yep, there really is such a cocktail. Comes from the same company.

N.S.: I don’t want them to 86 any of those stereotypes! They act as “tells,” as is the case with an incompetent poker player.

“Teens,” “Unarmed,” “random,” refusal to identify a perp’s race, while precisely telling us what color clothes he was wearing, and what color car he was driving. Whenever the msm decry “racist stereotypes,” they mean that for them, the truth is “racist.” And the police have adopted the same stereotypes.
