The CDC and FDA have been criminally incompetent. Not only did they insist on making their own test which delayed testing but they refused to allow other tests. Thousands are dying because the Chinese Wuhan Virus spread while because people could not get tested and quarantined. Countries like Taiwan and South Korea have done a much better job. Trump did the right thing in banning travel from China and then from Europe, but he was saddled with a power hungry and incompetent bureaucracy.
