Prosecutors to seek death penalty for Border Patrol agent accused in Texas killing spree. A grand jury indicted a Boarder [sic] Patrol agent accused of a 12-day killing spree in Laredo.

Technically not a serial killer because you have to commit your murders in a space of over one month. Actually falls under the category of spree or mass shooter. Just a technicality though, I have no doubt he would have continued to kill for over a month if not apprehended, his choice of female victims is clue there. Might be one of those names somebody could quibble on but I think I'll keep him on the serial killer list.
