For Once, a Racist Black Professor Gets Reprimanded for Harassing White Students! But of Course, She’s Suing Her School

Light, bright, and damn near white: Shannon Gibney harasses white men students, and gets paid for it

Thanks to reader-researcher “W” for the sendalong.

The instructor was apparently ranting about “structural racism,” which she does every day. The problem with that is that there is no such thing. Idiotic race hustlers invented the “theory” of “structural racism,” and began inventing race hoaxes, in order to cover for their lack of evidence of white racism, and to extort an endless gravy train of privileges and power. The scare quotes around theory are because there’s no theory, either. Racial socialists think that if they call their baseless, vile assertions a “theory,” that they then have incontrovertible, intellectual power on their side. And if that doesn’t work, they’ll just defame their opponents, and have them expelled or fired and whitelisted, the way Tracy Owens Patton did to Jay Gardner at the Iowa State University, and so many other racist academic thugs have done.

I wrote of that case,

Based on what I have seen of similar cases in graduate teacher education programs and professional diversity training workshops, I believe that Patton was not only engaging in classroom indoctrination, but laying a trap for any student with the integrity to call her out on her racist lies. She was looking to destroy such a student, and make an example of him.
Shannon Gibney has likely been playing the same game at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. This is the first case I have ever heard of, save perhaps for Terri Dunn (Claremont race hoaxer), in which the racist thug failed to get away with what she was doing. And the Dunn case was different, because she engaged in insurance fraud. Campus police departments may play along with these things, but insurance companies do not cotton to getting ripped off in obvious race hoaxes.

That Gibney sees herself as the victim of "discrimination" should not surprise anyone. First of all, "victim" is her profession. Part of that is that she considers it an act of "discrimination," any time a white disagrees with her on anything.

College accuses black professor of racial harassment against white students

  • The administration says the prof 'singled out white male students in class'

  • This is at least the second racial harassment complaint against Gibney

  • The professor, Shannon Gibney, said that she was talking about structural racism when white male students became upset.

A Minnesota college's administration issued a formal reprimand to a female black professor last month accusing her of creating a "hostile learning environment" for white male students, Campus Reform recently learned.

Three white male students filed a racial harassment discrimination complaint against the professor claiming a discussion on structural racism in her Introduction to Mass Communication class made them feel uncomfortable.

"It was inappropriate for you to single out white male students in class," states the letter from Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) Vice President of Academic Affairs Lois Bollman, according to an article in The Raw Story.

"Your actions in [targeting] select students based on their race and gender caused them embarrassment and created a hostile learning environment," it continues. "For that reason, I have determined that a reprimand is warranted."

The professor, Shannon Gibney, said she was talking about structural racism when one white male student got upset and asked "Why do we have to talk about this in every class?" and another asked "It’s like people are trying to say that white men are always the villains, the bad guys. Why do we have to say this?”

"He was taking it personally," she said in an interview with City College Air, a student media source. "I tried to explain, of course, in a reasonable manner — as reasonable as I could given the fact that I was being interrupted and put on the spot in the middle of class — that this is unfortunately the context of 21st century America.”

She told the students that if they were still offended they should "go down to legal affairs and file a racial harassment discrimination complaint.”

The two students — along with another white male — did just that.

The reprimand will remain in Gibney's permanent file, and she will also have to attend two appointments with the school's executive director of diversity.

The incident was not the first of its kind for Gibney. She was also reprimanded in 2009 after allegedly singling out white male students on the school newspaper staff for not doing enough to eliminate bias from the organization, according to an article in Minneapolis City Pages, a local news source.

The reprimand for this incident was also formal, according to The Raw Story.

Gibney and six other professors are filing a class action lawsuit against MCTC, alleging that it is a discriminatory workplace.

Editor's Update: The Minneapolis Community and Technical College administration released this statement in response to enquiries Monday night.

“At Minneapolis Community and Technical College we believe it is essential for our students to understand issues of race, class and power, and we encourage the faculty to actively engage students in respectful discussions about these topics and create an atmosphere in which students may ask questions as an important part of the classroom experience. That’s how we learn. As a diverse college we want to ensure that students, faculty and staff from all cultures and backgrounds feel welcomed and have an appropriate learning environment. We train our employees to ensure that these critical conversations around issues of diversity are constructive and lead to understanding."

Proof that colleges and universities in this country are upside down this black so-called professor "teaches" English.

If these White students think they are discriminated against and harassed they should be a White male where I live at and try to shop, eat, gas your car, or try and jog at some park without being harassed, cut in front of, blocked from your progress, ignored by black staff, etc, I could go on but you get my point. Hey and it's not as bad as it's going to get before it's all over.

I have noticed that half blacks, like Obama, or blacks with some White blood have a pure hatred for Whites. It's probably that they aren't White enough nor black enough, so that they have a choice to hate the blacks because they aren't black enough, but they couldn't do anything with that hate but get into trouble with no benefits, so they chose
to hate their White part, Whites. Now they can ride the band wagon with that hate.
