Part I :Jury Selection in Coleman Trial Begins

Note in the first three paragraphs the kind of people in the pool. Today, 20 people were kept. Of those, 16 women, 4 men, 14 white, 5 black, one Hispanic.
Judge Baumgartner told the prospective jurors they are to be "open-minded" about the death penalty. This is what he requires them to say during voir dire in order to be picked for the jury.
