“gentle giant” becomes even more gentle after taking one fatal bullet at grand rapids
“grand rapids, mich. (wood) — police say a family is 'devastated' after a man was killed when a fight escalated to a shooting at a grand rapids park over the weekend.
“'for … someone to show up with a handgun and think that was a solution to whatever dispute was going on, that’s so offensive and so out of line with what this community deserves and what it wants, grand rapids police department chief (White) Eric Winstrom said.

“'This was just a good kid who turned into a good, young adult who had his whole life ahead of him,' Winstrom said.

“the shooting happened around 7 p.m. saturday at Mackay-jaycees park on Kalamazoo avenue off of 28th street. Winstrom said Guyton suffered a single gunshot wound. emergency responders tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
“'it looks like it followed a fight. there was a fight on the basketball courts there,' Winstrom said. 'for something to go from a fistfight in the group to someone pulling out a gun and firing shots, there’s no explanation that is ever going to make sense to this family.
“Winstrom said the fight involved a group of females. he said it was not immediately clear whether Guyton was involved, tried to intervene or simply happened to be nearby. Guyton was not armed, the chief said.”

Thanks for update of no-news-is-no-news on Mr. Johnson of the 8th and Parkhurst neighborhood and continued prayers for his recovery and rehab. Hope he's been able to dump a lot of evidence to Chief Win-95's investigators who know darn well that it will lead to suspects with "extravagant rap sheet[s] and ... ridiculous forename[s]" that lead one to "deduce" inconvenient conclusions.

Tennis star Anna Kalynskaya, 26 yr. old Russian tennis star claims male players, particularly one, have "shown interest" in her. She claims one player, Danish tennis player Holger Rune DM'd her 10 times.
Wow? 10 times? In this day of instant messaging 10 times is nothing. Is that supposed to be traumatizing to her? And two other guys taking an interest in her? Is there something unnatural about that? A childless, pretty, under 30 yrs. old, HWP woman could easily have dozens of guys interested in her at any given time, she's in the prime category for desirability at that stage in life. She's on the supply side of the supply and demand equation, there are a lot less women with those qualities around than there are men that want them. She should expect that kind of attention also but nowadays, if women call it "unwanted" and act like it's a bad thing, it's considered a bad thing. Of course, how are men supposed to know if a woman is interested if they don't try? Along with all that, women also reserve the right to scorn men that don't have the confidence to at least try as wimps and cowards.
The player in question, Holger Rune, claims he wasn't asking her out but I do think he was interested, he's a young guy and she's nice looking young lady, what normal hetero male would not be interested in her? But normal hetero males, especially White ones, are being demonized for having those normal hetero feelings toward women.
My guess would be he was trying to make a connection online thinking they'd likely meet at a tournament somewhere on down the line and something might come out of it. Nothing wrong with that.
Anything above the finalists at the U.S.Open,in the looks department,is gorgeous in women's tennis. That final on Saturday was the worst looking finals since Venus played Serena.
