"(zh) U S manufacturing employment has declined by 42,000 jobs since april, even as the white house has promised a 'manufacturing renaissance,' treasury secretary, Scott 'Liberace' Bessent said sunday on meet the press. he attributed some of the perceived weakness to flawed data collection and suggested that upcoming revisions could wipe out hundreds of thousands of jobs previously reported under the [illegal] Biden administration.
"'we’re going to get revisions next week that may be as big as an 800,000-job downward revision,' Bessent said. 'I’m not sure what these people who collect the data have been doing, but we need good data.'"
GRA: Zero numbers in government are believable--just the way they like it. The numbers become meaningless--debt, jobs reports, inflation reports, company profit reports--absolutely meaningless. Hot fudge sauce(Smuckers)jumped from $2.69 to $3.09 this week.
Ground beef $6.39 compared to $4.99 three months ago. Prices ARE going up.

FAKE JOBS NUMBERS REVISED DOWN BY 911,000 OR 70,000 A MONTH.
(CNBC)The labor market created far fewer jobs than previously thought, according to a Labor Department report Tuesday that added to concerns both about the health of the economy and the state of data collection.
Annual revisions to nonfarm payrolls data for the year prior to March 2025 showed a drop of 911,000 from the initial estimates, according to a preliminary report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The total revision was on the high end of Wall Street expectations, which ranged from a low around 600,000 to as many as a million.
GRA:"Concerns". I have "concerns" every piece of data is is incorrect--for many reasons. It was thought biden was
jacking up employment numbers last year to hide a lousy economy. Probably true.
This revision,however,makes it an easier base to make job growth look better from here on out for Trump.
Even more revisions down are expected in the final report later in the year
Why even have these phony reports? Trump wants rate cuts--that's why.Who's to say HIS numbers aren't skewed down to get those cuts? Because the stock and bond market feed off the phony numbers.

(ZH)Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook has been granted a reprieve after her sorority-sister judge, Jia Cobb, temporarily blocked President Donald Trump from firing her - allowing Cook to remain on the job amid allegations of mortgage fraud.

Cobb granted Cook's request to continue in her role, finding that the alleged mortgage misconduct likely didn't amount to "cause" to fire her under the Federal Reserve Act. Cobb also found that the way Cook was fired likely violated her right to due process under the Constitution.
"The best reading of the ‘for cause’ provision is that the bases for removal of a member of the Board of Governors are limited to grounds concerning a Governor’s behavior in office and whether they have been faithfully and effectively executing their statutory duties," Cobb wrote.
