On being loud

On being loud

I've had neighbors of all kinds whom I could've killed "for being LOUD." Once upon a time, you could be arrested for being LOUD.

Spike Lee's anti-White psychosis seems to have started when his father got in trouble for playing LOUD live music in his apartment. Never saw Do the Right Thing, but I understand there's a large mute black guy who threatens a pizzeria owner by blasting the boom box he carries around constantly.

LOUD has been used as intimidation going back to White rock-n-roll, as a gesture of hate toward their parents' generation. In A Hard Day's Night, the Beatles torment an old man on a train by playing their LOUD transistor radio music, mocking him when he complains.

The LOUD-in-the-streets thing really began during the disco era, when suddenly blacks were walking around with their boom boxes going at all hours. There was no police enforcement, though if someone complained, the police MIGHT reluctantly show up and shoo the culprits to another location. The LOUD-from -the-passing-cars era began soon after.

It's inescapable now, even in rural areas. And it ain't just the blacks or latinos. Drugs have made everybody the same; it's the great equalizer of society. The father of LOUD.

True, RM, I look at rap “music” blasting from a car, see a White guy driving and wonder—why?

Another casualty of dumbed-down America—thanks to blacks invading our White neighborhoods.

Negroes playing loud music is about establishing dominion over Whites by invading their audio space, intimidation of Whites, provoking a confrontation then playing the race victim. Liberal Whites will say "Whites play loud music too"...Yes, of course they do but there is still a huge difference. When you get on mass transit who is playing loud music 90% of the time? If you have negro neighbors, the odds of loud obnoxious music being played goes up exponentially. They are hoping a White will get angry and that there will be a confrontation. If things get violent then they will innocently say: "I was just playing music and that racist Whitey got angry and violent". Liberal Whites will go along with it and say the White overreacted to something that is harmless. No, loud music is not harmless, it's an assault on the senses and White people have every right to object.

To be fair, mex are as big a bunch of a-holes as blacks. Not sure which music is more irritating. Rap or tejano.

It's a tossup for sure, but I'll give rap the edge due to the relentless use of the n word and racist lyrics in general.

The late San Francisco Chronicle columnist Herb Caen had an item in the 1970s about a man on a bus sitting next to a black kid who had a boom box playing loudly. “Nice radio,” he said to the boy. “How much do you want for it?” “Twenty dollars” (or some such amount) was the reply. After the money for the deal exchanged hands, the guy immediately opened the window and threw it away--to general applause, I assume.

Good story. Now,the black kid would stab or shoot the White guy for asking.

Loud music is a leading indicator of civilization's decline. Just my opinion.

Lots of stories. I've noticed that some of the most obnoxious offenders have been white women.

I'm about 150 feet from a two-lane state highway. Each day brings a few incidents of loud thump-thump-thumping bass coming by, audible and sometimes tactile (the vibration) approaching and passing by then fading.

I need some kind of advanced drone with a death ray that will vaporize the inconsiderate bastards. Or at least target their stereo systems.

But at least these only last 15 - 30 seconds and they're gone. Neighbor noise is intolerable. At the current place there have been a few incidents but the landlord has been good about handling the problem. Still a feeling of dread every time there's a vacancy and a new neighbor moving in. Still in the market for a death ray, just to be prepared.

Running the white noise (ironic name, eh?) app on the air conditioner sound effect at loud volume helps at night when trying to sleep. Started using it at motels and campgrounds, too.
