Elsewhere it’s been noted how wikipedia changed the article’s title from “assassination attempt” to “shooting at rally.”
Mark Steyn picks and sticks with the most apt title , “What They Wanted.” And efficiently sums it up: “this is a catastrophic security failure by the secret service,” and “this is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.”

As I posted tonight,abc reported a local cop DID get on that roof to stop the assassin BEFORE Thomas Crooks fired shots at President Trump,but Crooks aimed his AR -15 at the cop,who then fell down,allowing Crooks the opportunity to unleash lead down below.
