light-skinned mulatto commits hate crime in the progressive paradise of pdx, but it’s not the hate crime it should be!

This has gotten some local press but the story hasn’t broken nationally (wonder why). You have to piece together what happened from local news stories, because none of them give the full story but from what I can glean, Mr. Jackson was behaving like...well, you know, the 13% behave by sexually touching/harassing a female in the bar, and when he was rejected, started using slurs against a member of her group who appeared to be trans. There was also something about him getting into it with employees over not tipping (stereotype alert) and him being in a “bad mood” in general (as if that’s an excuse).

A White man in the group, 32-year-old Colin Smith, stood up for his friend and Jackson stabbed him to death. This is being characterized as an anti-gay hate crime but since Smith was White, and not gay himself, maybe it should be an anti-White hate crime. I couldn’t find anywhere that Jackson made any anti-White comments but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did and it just isn’t being reported. Honestly, I wasn’t there and don’t know exactly what happened but if the races were reversed and a White man was responsible, they’d be doing their utmost to try to turn it into an anti-black hate crime.

Good news is, they did convict Rahnique, and he was sentenced to life, until parole, that is.
