“former [sic] president Donald Trump was released from the hospital late saturday after he said he was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of his right ear during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
GRA: A) cbs doesn’t believe it was an assassination attempt? B) They don’t believe “he said he was shot with a bullet that pierced” his ear?
What’s the matter with the damn media?
What proof do they need—or are they calling this a “Trump lie?”

I had one person, who has tds, tell me he thinks it was staged somehow. He's not sure how they pulled it off but he threw out a "2nd shooter" theory, some kind of professional that purposely shot him in the ear so as not to kill but nick. That would create public sympathy for Trump and help him in the election. Even if it could be pulled off in this day of ubiquitous recording devices imagine the shooter was off even a micro inch with his aim. Absurd.
Shows how desperate Trump haters are to rationalize what happened.
Margaret Brennan is soooo concerned with the rhetoric being too hot today.What about the previous 8 years?Calling Trump "a liar"--in many different ways.
"Trump said(fill in the blank)with no facts."
"More conspiracy theories from Trump."
"Trump's claim was contradicted by Comey,Tillerson,Bolton etal."--as if THEY were telling the truth.
The democracy and racist crap,plus the Hitler comparisons are slander,imho.He's already been President for four years--and nothing happened to democracy or blacks(too bad about blacks),so for Brennan or cbs to call for less bombastic political rhetoric,well,look in the mirror,
