Murdering an 89 year old for snitching seems pretty damn ridiculous to me--but I'm White.

Bulger had notoriety, which is dangerous in prison. And he didn't have any protection.
Whitey too was a senior rather advanced age. These bad guys are in a Federal prison and should get death but they took a plea. AND it takes years to reach a settlement that is not much of a settlement.
