The new york post reported in April 2019 that new york university cut ties with Aramark after it served ribs, collard greens, and kool-aid during black history month in 2018.

annual black history month drama: If you serve blacks their own foods, they condemn you for "racial insensitivity" (and if you don't...)
Other institutions have apologized for similar menu fails, including the children's museum of indianapolis, which served a "juneteenth watermelon salad" in june 2022.

Why do you say that, Brad? If you're White, blacks are going to condemn you, no matter what you serve them for bhm.
Some school district they served chicken and waffles. They too were condemned.
Right. You can never please them.
Those foods probably better than what they get served daily.
Non-blacks should stop trying to appease them--kowtow to them and they only see it as weakness and a better chance to bully you and shake you down. Another scam it the "cultural appropriation" charge. Whites created the clothing, technology, music--and virtually everything used in modern living. But if a White wears something inspired by another race of culture, the minorities try to use it against him or her. So many minorities play the victim when the problem is usually themselves. I remember an American Indian young woman telling me that her boyfriend could only get a job digging ditches even though he had recently graduated from college. I asked what his major was and she said, "American Indian Studies" or some such title. You can bet Asian parents would never let their children get useless degrees--they always aim for something lucrative in the medical, dental, or engineering fields.

It's the same clumsy attempt Jill Biden tried to make talking about her affinity to breakfast tacos trying to relate. Forget the whole thing, serve hamburgers and fries, same thing on every menu.
Just read that the meal included WAFFLES. A dangerous mistake, you know what happens when blacks eat waffles--see waffle house riots.
In a country,where everyone eats all types of food--ethnic and otherwise--just serve the meals and tell whoever's complaining--to shut up.

Why do I say that? Because it's a ham handed attempt at relating, a five year old would know that. Jill Biden did pretty much the same thing and got the same blowback by trying to relate to Latinos by expressing her affinity for eating tacos. Say nothing and do nothing. Serve burgers and fries.
