I watched the 2019 trial of Eric Boyd for his role in the Knoxville Horror on courttv. There were around a half-dozen “expert” commentators, along with host Vinnie Politan. The guests were apparently members of the Atlanta defense bar. All took a pro-defense stance. Only Vinnie Politan was pro-prosecution, though as host he seemed to feel he had to be objective.
The “experts” professed to be certain of Boyd’s acquittal. They couldn’t see any other outcome. To them, “not guilty” was the only fair verdict. When the jury found Boyd guilty, the “experts” consensus was: “The victims were white. The defendant was ‘of color’ and had no chance. Not fair.”
N.S.: For those who weren’t WEJB/NSU readers at the time, the Boyd trial was a slam-dunk.
Remember the trial of George Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin in self-defense in 2013? Black defense attorney Joey Jackson led the “expert” discussions on hln.
Because Martin was black, and Zimmerman had been decreed “White-enough,” Jackson turned into a rabid prosecutor.
These mooks don’t believe in any principles, they just see color.
